For our PD SLN Division in Trondheim, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Marine. The candidate, reporting to the Head of Portfolio, will be responsible for managing complex marine projects with responsibility for results and with the objective of executing them to meet the required standard of quality (time, budget and functionalities), ensuring business success and customer satisfaction.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Profit & Loss for the entire project, throughout managing the project realization as for commercial and contractual terms.
  • Coordination of internal project units (Engineering-Purchasing-Commissioning) and external supplier - sub supplier in order to guarantee the project realization as for key dates and technical specification;
  • Risk & Opportunities management and strategy
  • Forecasting the project development and give pro-active instructions and solutions to prevent and avoid eventual problems;
  • Scheduling time control of the project;
  • Customer managing by representing Siemens with customers giving always the best support and increasing the quality of the relationships;
  • Reporting the project status and progresses;
  • Solving and negotiating project claims with customers and suppliers;
  • Participating to customer meetings in Norway and abroad.
  • Coordination with site supervisor in order to control site activities and give guide line to sub supplier personnel: monitoring the site works progress and solving problems and organizing site coordination meetings with sub supplier representatives;
  • Monthly reports concerning project status and profitability progress.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • At least 5 years of experience as Project Manager in complex and international projects;
  • Competences in Marine projects is preferable but not a must;
  • Proven track of Risk Management
  • Experience to manage contract
  • Master Degree in Electronic or Electrical engineering;
  • Knowledge in Marine products, systems and solutions;
  • Project Management certification from PMI or other relevant will be a plus;
  • Fluent in Norwegian and in English (written and spoken). A third language will be a plus;
  • Availability to travel in Norway and abroad;
  • Experience in working with different culture and languages will be an advantage.
