You will be responsible for setting-up and managing the project engineering office in Oslo, with focus on engineering, testing and commissioning of turn-key grid automation system solutions. You will have the direct responsibility for a team of engineers in Oslo, working with Scada, RTU, communication, protection and electrical engineering, who is supported by dedicated engineering resources in INOPC (India) and in RFF in the Czech Republic.

As Engineering manager you will be part of the OU Scandinavia Engineering Management team, reporting to the Engineering Manager in the Operating Unit. Together with your colleagues in the Management team, you will be a key person for establishing common processes and engineering tools that lay the foundation for efficient execution of project work and for resource sharing among the locations within the Operating Unit.

You will collaborate and work closely with the local Sales as well as the Operations organization to staff tenders and projects to provide the projects with the best possible resources. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, motivating and developing your direct reports so that engineering, testing and commissioning in projects is being performed efficiently, on time, on budget and to expected quality.


Ideally you have previous experience of engineering management, preferably within grid automation systems solutions. Preferably you have a profound knowledge of the PGGA portfolio and an understanding of available solutions and engineering tools.

You have good leadership skills and you are capable of making your engineering team deliver on time, on budget and to expected quality. You are a team player with the ability to lead change, to motivate your direct reports and you have the ability to coach, develop and grow your team.

You have good communication skills in at least one of the Scandinavian languages, as well as in English.
